One, Baton Rouge is 50.02% African American and has been very African American throughout its history (The Baton Rouge Bus Boycott of June 1953 was the first bus boycott for example. ). I actually have so many problems with this, it’s not even funny.

1) Yiddish is a fairly new language (only a few hundred years old) and is a combination of German and Hebrew.  If Germany really wanted to appeal to Israel, he would be learning Hebrew instead.

2) This would never happen.  Ever.  In a million years.  Yes, the Holocaust is over, but Israel is basically hated by most countries in the world.

3) The Yiddish is actually incorrect.  Like, her translation is blatantly wrong.  And her use of vowels is quite random (most of them can’t go with the letters she put them with).

According to my friend, Germany looks like an alien.

It’s hard to fully understand that some fangirls of Hetalia have no common sense. I met a roleplayer who roleplayed her own Alaska oc, and claimed she researched. The only thing she did was copy and paste things from wikipedia about the geography of Alaska. (which can also be considered plagiarism) Her character also has no historic reference, apart from Alaska being Russia’s waifu (which never came close to happening). Needless to say a lot of Mary-Sue shitters don’t give a care about history.

I also overheard someone said that “Aside from history Russia and Lithuania’s relationship is as pure and as beautiful as a flower.” This goes to show how much common sense the majority of the Hetalia fandom has.

Well not all Alaska OC’s are Mary-Sue’s. Fear is natural. I was scared of posting my OC for a few months. All you have to do is quiz yourself:

1. Does my OC represent the people of [insert country/state/commonwealth/city/region/territory/province here]
2. Does it have a common personality of the people? 
3. Can it be considered a replication of me? (usually not good)
4. What is his/her background story?
5. Do the pairings historically make sense?
6. Have I done enough studying for this character to make sense?
7. Does the character have any flaws? 
8. Does the character have common pastimes of the people?

People, please. Stick to countries. From my experience, it’s a lot harder doing an entire continent. There are so many different customs on a WHOLE CONTINENT. You can’t just make a hetalia character for one whole continent. Try South America. There is Brazil, which is entirely different from Peru, and Peru is entirely different from Colombia (and many other South American nations). Same with Europe. The ideal picture of Europe is an extremely white person. But then there is Czechoslovakia, Romania, Greece, Hungary and sometimes Turkey (it depends which map you look at), who’s more or less olive colored skin contradicts with the German’s, the Norwegian’s, The Icelandic’s, and the United Kingdom’s white skin.

Sorry if this doesn’t make sense to you/has no structure.

well puerto rico is my oc and being such a small territory she needs some form of help plus killing off family to pretect some1 close she would feel misguided and lonley so i guess shed look to someone for a form of comfort other then that u have to watch hetalia

Because Puerto Rico is totally up on Russia’s dick, even though America isn’t.

When PR becomes it’s own county, that’s when you fangirls can start shipping it with countries that America doesn’t like. For now it is under American rule, will and dislike countries that America dislikes.

I’m working on designs. They are still up for changes. Northern Ireland is supposed to be a cat. Like Kumajiro is supposed to be a polar bear? Also Hiroshima’s wings represent the death of most of her population after the atom bomb so it’s merely symbolism. Also Transylvania’s look has been changed multiple times. Like I said still working on disigns.

Kumajiro doesn’t even represent anything though, unlike North Ireland. As for Hiroshima, there are a lot better ways to represent death than by giving her wings. (Plus, that still leaves cat ears which NO Hetalia OC should have.)

The only good thing I have to say here is that at least the Ireland in the top row looks somewhat presentable. The other ones need to lose the cat ears, wings, odd colored hair, and whatever else the creator put there because it looks kawaii desu. The last two probably shouldn’t even exist since there not even real places.

It’s quite common to make an oc that isn’t a real place, and it’s actually quite acceptable. As long as they did some studying of the folklore or anything about it. If they are doing this just to make a kawaii sugoi desu oc, than it DESERVES to be on this page. 

As for Hiroshima, How can wings represent the devastating atomic bombing of a whole city? Have a little respect. At the very least, make it a scar. Also do some studying, and make an oc on the Prefecture. Not the city. 

Sicily and Ireland look somewhat presentable, but still they need a background and personality. 

I have no idea what the fuck is up with The Philippines.

Now about N.Ireland…

Words can not express my amount of disappointment. So I will instead pass on, and not restate what the other critic said. 

Rose Island and Rainbow Creek have no people on it, so they can’t really be stereotyped into a Hetalia character.

I don’t know what the fuck is up with Rainbow Creek. I have no idea why she’s trying to act so moe. 

This person really, really needs to stay off those character generators.
